What to include in the T&C document

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of driving instruction services by Allison Fox, a DVSA-approved driving instructor. By booking lessons, you agree to these terms.

 

2. Bookings and Payments

• Lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

• Payment must be made [in advance/on the day] via Cash or Bank Tran.

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur the full lesson fee.

 

4. Conduct and Responsibilities

• Students must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence.

• Students must inform the instructor of any medical conditions affecting driving abilities.

• The instructor reserves the right to terminate lessons due to unsafe behaviour, under the influence of drugs/alcohol, or non-compliance with instructions.

 

5. Instructor Responsibilities

• Lessons will be provided in a roadworthy, insured vehicle.

• The instructor will be punctual and professional.

• In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle breakdown), lessons may be rescheduled.

 

6. Driving Test

• The instructors vehicle can be used for driving tests subject to readiness assessment.

• Test bookings are the students responsibility unless arranged otherwise.

 

7. Liability

• The instructor is not liable for test fees, costs due to lesson cancellations, or driving offences committed during lessons.

 

8. Data Protection

• Personal information will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws and will not be shared without consent.

 

9. Amendments

• Terms may be updated; students will be notified of any changes.

 

10. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
